AuntieL was able to go on a tour solo today. She did some SUP (stand up paddling) on the river. She got a thigh high mud wrap free of charge. I guess there was a little mud to navigate through get to the river. Everything is an adventure in the jungle. The fairies took turns playing with BB.
The kids and MomT went out to breakfast. BB got the banana coconut pancakes with honey.
Fairy1 got the homemade corn tortilla breakfast tour of love.
The fish lady Cheri came to the house to shave and trim DadD poolside. Cheri had an Aveda hair salon in SOHO for 15 years, now she does poolside haircuts in Costa Rica. Wow how cool to have someone so experienced here in the jungle! DadD was feeling a little grungy, he is all clean and fresh again.
Fairy1 was able to Skype with her class today. She did a lot of thoughtful preparing for her lesson on spanish greetings and local Costa Rican produce. Fairy1 showed her class the fruit, told its english and spanish names, cut it open (well MomT did that part) and then told them what it tasted like.
Here are some of the fruits...
and here are some vegetables.....
Next was her lesson on everyday spanish greetings. Her class seemed so attentive and repeated the words with excellent pronunciation. We can't wait to hear her class use some spanish on their next Skype! A great big thanks to her teacher GF for his continued enthusiasm.
BB had his second surf lesson with Angie, enjoy the video clip below.
