A Day of Hanging in the Hood

It is interesting driving here.  There are not really any labeled streets.  You just follow signs for either a town or the business you are looking for.  The roads are dirt and live up to their reputation in the guide books.  We read about bathtub sized potholes...this is an understatement.  We always end up where we are headed and are enjoying our discoveries along the way.
Yesterday we started our day off driving to Nosara to see our North Country buddies and hung out at the beach and the pool.  Here is Fairy1 with her Amiga posing for a photo.
Here are the fairies hanging out at our favorite joint Robin's having smoothies
Fairy1 skyped with her class back at home for about 30 minutes, she thinks it was "awesome".
Her classmates asked her questions and she impressed us with her grasp of Costa Rica.
We visited 2 international schools today (one by mistake because we followed the wrong sign).  This photo is at the Del Mar Academy.  It is a montessori school with 55 students grades pre-k to 8.  The students are local Costa Ricans "Ticos" and children from around the world residing in the area.  The fairies are looking at the 5 day old lamb born on campus.  They also have dogs, chickens and a vegetable garden (sounds a little like Fairy2's schoo in NHl).  Yoga, surfing, art, music, and spanish are just some of the subjects taught here.  The campus is beautiful!
This is a visitor in our driveway this morning.  It is a coati kind of like a racoon.  He pulled a papaya off of a tree and dug a little hole in it.  Here he is scooping the fruit out.  They tend to be pretty bold but not agressive.
