So we made it to Ostional yesterday! We literally crossed rivers and dodged livestock on our way. We also spotted our first howler monkey on a telephone wire. Pretty cool stuff! The house we rented is beautiful and exotic. Pretty much a tropical paradise. We fell asleep to the sound of exotic birds, howler monkeys and flowing water from the infinity pool.
We woke up this morning did some exploring in the yard, took a swim in the pool and unpacked. The Fab4 set out and headed towards Nosara to buy food and explore the area a little more. So we knew the roads were rugged but who knew MomT would be crossing 4 rivers and towing a huge truck stuck in the mud with the Toyota Rav4. Fairy1 loves the adventure and with Fairy 2 the jury is still out.
We are having Internet issues at the house so I am posting this blog from an awesome organic cafe/homemade ice cream joint called Robin's in Nosara. Hopefully we will be connected to technology at our rental soon. I can't wait to post some pics. Adios for now.
